1981 Mini 1000 - New Restoration Project

Hi all, I am new to this site and have just started a restoration project in Varna. I apologize for my lack of Bulgarian.
I built my first Mini over 40 years ago as my father had a scrapyard in Manchester, England. I recently saw an old (1981) Mini Cooper for sale, after driving across country to Blagoevgrad it turned out to be a Mini 1000. I decided to go with it anyway and have started the stripdown process. I also have a 1275 Rover Mini engine and a new set of 13" wheels to fit.

I would greatly appreciate any help sourcing a Engine Test Garage, a shot / sand blasting workshop, and a good bodywork garage preferably in the Varna area.

Hi,
there is a wet blasting studio in Varna - 088 337 4977 they only do details as far as I know
this is a sandblaster in Varna - 089 500 9378
there is a forum member with a restored Mini in Varna, he has a thread about his car on here somewhere - check him out for advice

I have seen the thread you mention regarding the Mini in Varna, it seems like he has been through everything I will be doing myself.
The 'Jag' looks in brilliant condition although it's not for me, I could never get it into my underground garage ! Good luck with the sale.
Have a great week, I will keep updating my restoration with photos if I can work out how to include them in the mailings.

I have a great restorer in Varna too, but he is busy for years ahead.
as for the images - use pichost just like you did in your first post. use the first link below the blank space you write in that says Натиснете тук за прикачване на картинки, and it will redirect you (you may need to register there, it takes a minute).
