Така се случи, че отново се озовах в САЩ и не пропуснах възможността да посетя поредният вдъхновяваш музей за ретро автомобили.
The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum се намира в съседство с шоколадовата фабриката и увеселителният парк на Hershey.
Въпреки, че повечето туристи идват в едноименния град точно заради шоколадовите забавления, аз ги подминах отправяйки се към музеят. Не знаех много за него, нямах почти никакви очаквания.
Паркирах редом до стар Шевролет Ел Камини в блестящо състояние на паркинга до музея и така започна разходката назад във времето.
На зелената, перфектно окосена американска ливада пред музея бяха паркирани няколко класики на посетители, дошли в организирана група.
За управата на музея беше чест да има такава тумба фенове и ги бе удостоила с честта да паркират парадно отпред.
Още от паркинга ми стана ясно, че 200 мили в път не са били напразно.
Днес ще пусна само снимки на колите извън музея като в идните дни ще разкажа и пусна снимки на същинската колекция, която включваше най-голямата сбирка на Tucker, култови Лотуси от предната тематична изложба, изключително екзотична Alfa 8C 2300, Sterling Knight, служебният Pierce-Arrow на Марлене Дитрих и още куп интересни уникати.

На няколко пъти споменавахме Бугати Роял в други теми. Е, някои от машините тук, като черният Пакард например, са по-внушителни на размер дори от Бугати Роял.

Така по-любознателните ще си обогатят знанията.
Продължавам с автомобил OTTO от 1910 година, който е дарен на музея от първи собственик.
Автомобилът е бил собственост на едно семейство в продължение на цели 100 години - един век!

Едно от най-любопитните неща в Американските музеи е пресъздаването на емблематични сюжети от изминалите десетилетия.
Било то един ъгъл от стар автосервиз, стара бензиностанция или крайпътна закусвалня те потапят във времето когато автомобилите са били от метал, кока колата в стъклени бутилки, а МакДоналдс е малко ресторантче в далечна Калифорния.

Първият прототип на Тъкър е двигател с хидравлично задвижвани клапани.
Много хора не вярвали, че Тъкър ще успее да запали този двигател, но всъщност той успял.
В крайна сметка този тип задвижване на клапаните остава в историята на фирмата.

Интересен факт е, че всеки един от автомобилите се различава от другите по малки детайли като форма на броните, фарове или калници.
Различките са видими само за познавачи на марката, но съществуват.
